“You’re A Daisy If You Do!”

President George W. Bush hugs a woman displaced by Hurricane Katrina during his visit Monday, Sept. 5, 2005 at the Bethany World Prayer Center shelter in Baton Rouge, La. White House photo by Eric Draper

Ya know, I’m sick of liberals whining about Bush’s “Photo Ops”. Most recently, we had Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-LA.) whining on This Week “please stop taking photo ops and come see this devastation.”

Uhmmmm…..Ms. Landrieu, aren’t you taking advantage of “photo ops” instead of helping your state? My friends, it’s disgusting how the left tries to marginalize the president’s public appearances. Anytime Bush meets with the public and ig helps some folks, it’s dismissed as merely a “photo op”. The same was said about Bush on the USS Abraham Lincoln, his appearance in Iraq etc. And you can be damn sure that if the president didn’t appear in Mississippi or Louisiana, the left would have demonized him for not caring.

President Bush, you’re damned if you do and damned if you don’t no matter what you do.
Leave it to the liberals to politicize a disaster. They’re about as useful, and respectable, as the looters.
